Run in one of America’s top resort communities. Hidden away among an intricate maze of rivers, islands and maritime forests, the Palmetto Bluff Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K courses are flat, fast and chip timed. As the largest waterfront property on the East coast, Palmetto Bluff is evolving as a residential community and conservation preserve, with over 20,000 acres that remain virtually undisturbed.

The Marathon course, USATF Certification SC18002DW and a Boston Marathon Qualifier, the Half Marathon course and the 10K course is stroller and dog friendly. Race shirts are guaranteed to the first 750 registrants and beautiful medals are awarded to all marathon and half marathon finishers.

Race proceeds will benefit the Palmetto Bluff Conservancy, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the natural, historical and cultural resources of the Bluff. With regular educational programs and year-long research projects on the abounding wildlife and rich history of the Bluff, the Conservancy ensures the spectacular ecology and diverse environments of the community will be enjoyed by many for years to come. 

Celebrate your finish at the After Party with live music, a free beer from River Dog Brewing Co., and a free barbeque sandwich from the Palmetto Bluff food truck, Big Carol. And don't forget the incredible awards: the 1st place winner overall for males and females will receive a 2 day/1night stay at Montage Palmetto Bluff; the 2nd place winner overall will receive a Palmetto Bluff $200 gift certificate; and the 3rd place winner overall will receive $100 Palmetto Bluff gift certificate. Awards will also be given to the first place winner in each age division
