Palmetto Bluff is the best of the South Carolina Lowcountry. 20,000 acres that remain virtually undisturbed and home to some of the most beautiful trails in the Lowcountry. Join us for the annual Buffalo Run benefiting the Palmetto Bluff Conservancy. Featuring a NEW course, this 10K, 30K, and 50K race is a tree-shaded combination of single track, dirt and gravel road trail. The Buffalo Run 6.2-mile trail winds deep into the ancient maritime forests of Palmetto Bluff. Don’t be afraid to get a little muddy — it’s all a part of the experience.
30K and 50K Relay Teams. Gather your friends and compete in the 30K and 50K endurance races with either a 3-person team for the 30K or a 5-person team for the 50K.

The 5K & 10K race begins at 9:00AM, Saturday, October 29. The 1 mile starts at 9:15AM The races start and end at the community’s amenity center. The scenic race routes incorporate the scenic lake views and bridges and winds through the scenic community including lake views to the Peninsula and Bridge Side Park. Student discounts available for 5K & 10K (must have proof of ID). Long Sleeve TBR shirts not guaranteed for any registrations after 10/14/22.

The 7th Annual Sandalwood Run for Hunger
5K & 10K Races – Dogs Welcome!
The Sixth Annual Sandalwood Run for Hunger is coming to Hilton Head Island on October 15th, 2022
The Sandalwood Community Food Pantry is delighted to again be partnering with our Title Sponsor, The South Carolina Aquarium and Palmetto Running Company on this Kickoff to Spring event, which will benefit our neighbors in need living in our Hilton Head Island community. We will return to the historic Mitchelville Freedom Park as the location for our 5K, 10K Run/Walk — this is an awesome course combining roads, trails and beach. Thanks to popular demand, we will again include a Fastest Dog Division.
Pub Run Fun continues on October 12th at Hilton Head Brewery, 6:00PM start. Join us for 3 mile run/walk, Oktoberfest Brews, Brats and German music. Wear you best Bavarian costume if you have!
Try out a pair of the Brooks Glycerins on your run or walk and end the day with a cup of Cold Brew from Runner’s High Coffee Co.
The 5k race starts and ends at LowCountry Community Church off of Buckwalter Parkway. It is a fast flat course and will be chip timed by Palmetto Running. There will be one water station on the course approximately at the halfway point. The race will start promptly at 8am with the Children’s DASH followed by the 5k run. Parents are welcome to run with their child(ren) if necessary. All participants will be welcomed back to the finish with a shower of bubbles (representative of special needs) and a finisher’s medal. NOTE: Each participant MUST turn in their timing chip to receive a medal!
The award ceremony will take place after the last runner completes the 5k course. The overall top male and female runners and the top age group male and female runners of the 5k in each of the following age groups (<10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+) and DASH in each of the following age groups (<4, 5-7, 8-10) will receive awards. You must be present to receive an award. Refreshments will be available for all during the event.
Shirts are guaranteed if registered by September 10th.

Join the Bluffton community on September 17th as we remember the life of DJ Fields with 5.5K non competitive walk/run from Eagles Field in Bluffton. The first 75 participants will receive a “TEAM 55” shirt.
All participants are welcome to join the Fields family for DJ’s Day of Giving Back to the Community for a cookout starting at 2:00pm at Eagles Field. There will be food, games, a live DJ, friendship and fellowship. All proceeds will go to the Live Like DJ Scholarship Fund.
